EXAMS Recap – Semester 2, YR 2

29 05 2010

Like all exams, we have finally finished these ones too. It’s been a busy 3 weeks filled with lot’s of memorizing, disappointments and of course surprises. The best thing is that they have finally come to an end. I did a total of 7 exams this semester.

I started with Microbial Biochemistry on 10th May, followed by Advanced Enzymology on 13th May, Molecular Biology on 14th may, Basic Parasitology on 15th May, Evolutionary Biology on 21st May, Biostatistics on 23rd May and finally Introduction to Microbiology and Biotechnology on 28th May.

Among these exams, Microbial Biochemistry and Advanced Enzymology didn’t have any major surprises or disappointments. Molecular Biology and Microbiology were the most disappointing with Molecular Biology taking the crown of hardest exam this semester followed by Microbiology.

Basic Parasitology was my biggest surprise this semester because i hoped for a harder exam than what we did. Biostatistics and Evolutionary Biology were fair although preparing for Biostatistics was a nightmare but i managed to grasp everything in time.

I am now waiting for results and i am hoping they are good. I am hoping to increase my CGPA this semester just like i did last semester but i am hoping the increase for this semester is much bigger.
