STRIKE SUSPENDED

30 08 2010

Lecturers finally suspended their strike last week on Friday. According to a statement released after their meeting, it said Lectures will start immediately.

This is the news all of us (me and my college mates) have been waiting for.  Their decision to go on strike was uncalled for and i am glad they have realized that.

However, coming to this decision was not easy. They had to meet government officials first and the officicls suggested that government auditors would determine the real amount of pension money they have with the insurance company.

This process will take about 3 months and after the audit, they will decide on what to do next. But for now, Lectures have resumed and everything is moving well so far.
